I
wrote this chronology of events, mostly in Germany between 1991 and 1993,
because I wanted to understand more about what had really happened in the
lead up to, and during the "change" in the autumn of 1989.
The reporting on which the chronology is based is drawn largely from the British daily broadsheets, but also includes transcipt excerpts from foreign broadcasts and UK television. |
